If you have well water this not the answer. Thought I would give it a try as opposed to installing a RO system (which is a pain). $$ down the drain as this
item did not make much of a difference in water quality or taste.
I guess the Berkey filters and the quality reverse osmosis systems are $200.00 + for a reason. (Your mileage may vary…)
